At Everglades University, we work hard to provide an education to those who are willing and motivated to succeed. Our applications process is simple—you can call our admissions office or apply directly on our website, fill out a form, and provide the appropriate paperwork. Although we use a rolling admissions system, we encourage all prospective students to apply as far in advance of their desired start date as possible. To make the process easier, be sure to have these three things ready before you begin applying.

Your Test Scores

In order to be considered for enrollment at Everglades University, you must provide your test results from the SAT or the ACT. If you didn’t take either of these exams, you can make arrangements to take the Everglades University entrance exam. Scores must be at, or above, a 15 for the entrance exam, a composite score of 17 for the ACT, or a combined score of 1200 for the SAT. The CLAST exam may also be considered with a passing score. If you already have a college degree and are looking to advance your college education, you do not need to take the entrance exam or provide test results for the above.

If you are applying to attend one of our Master’s Degree programs, you must also have taken the GMAT or GRE and earned a minimum score of 500 on the GMAT or a 290 on the GRE, along with proven completion of any necessary prerequisite courses.

If you do not meet these requirements, consider talking with an admissions counselor. We are able to accept 10 percent of applicants who don’t meet the test requirements, and other factors, like good grades, may be able to help your chances of acceptance.

Your Application Fee

Application fees are a necessary part of the application process, and when you apply to colleges, you must keep these fees in mind before applying. Everglades University requires a one time, $50 fee for their application.

Your Transcripts

If you are a high school student applying for college, you will need to provide your high school transcripts and proof of graduation. The same is true for those coming from a different college or university, or comparable foreign institution.

If you are applying for a Master’s Degree program, you must provide an official transcript proving you earned a Bachelor Degree or Graduate Degree from an accredited school. Your transcript must also provide your GPA information, proving that you have a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 at the Bachelor’s level or a 3.0 at the master’s level, which are the averages needed to be considered.
