Ms. Kristi Mollis is the President/CEO of Everglades University overseeing the University’s six campuses located in Boca Raton, Sarasota, Tampa, Orlando, & Miami, Florida & an Online Division. President Mollis holds an MBA from Nova University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Baldwin-Wallace University. She has been the EU President for the past 22 years. Under her leadership, Everglades University has received many awards and recognitions, grown from one campus to six locations, advanced from College to University status, increased from under 100 students to over 2,500 students, and moved from national to regional accreditation. Everglades University is a level III SACS-accredited university and a member of the Independent Colleges and Universities of Florida (ICUF), and is currently the 18th-largest non-profit University in the state of FL.

She was recognized in the Florida Trend 2023 & 2020 “People to Know” for Palm Beach County. President Kristi Mollis was Ranked in the 2025 Top 100 Woman-Led Businesses in Florida for the 12th consecutive year by the Women’s Edge, ranking #23 in the entire state of Florida among both non-profit and for-profit business categories. Ms. Mollis was recognized in 2012 as the South Florida Business Leader of the Year in Education.

President Mollis has over 35 years of experience in higher education leadership.  Ms. Mollis currently serves as a Committee Chair for On-Site.

Evaluators for the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) and served as a past ACCSC Team leader, conducting over 40+ announced and unannounced visits for these Commissions. From 2009-2013 President Mollis served as an elected Commissioner and held an office on the Executive Committee of ACCSC a USDOE accrediting agency. She was honored by ACCSC in 2007 and awarded the 2007 Team Leader of the Year.

President Mollis has been a VISTAGE member for over 21 years. President Mollis has attended over 100 professional development workshops, including USDOE, FLDOE, SACS, VA, SEVIS/INS, ICUF, Team Leader Training, Commissioner Training, Commissioner Meetings, and other workshops from regulatory bodies.
