Everglades University offers a Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Aviation/Aerospace. The degree prepares graduates for entry into or advancement within the aviation industry. It teaches students a combination of communication, analytical and technical skills specific to aviation science, while also providing them with a solid academic foundation through general education courses.
Aviation Concentrations for the BS degrees:

Masters Aviation concentrations are:
- Aviation Security
- Aviation Operations Management
- Business Administration
To earn your degree in aviation science, you must first:
1. Choose a campus – Everglades University has five campuses, Boca Raton, Orlando, Sarasota, Tampa, and an online division. You can earn your Bachelor of Science Degree either in person or online.
2. Apply for enrollment – No need to wait until the fall semester to start a new program. At Everglades University, classes start every month. You can apply for the program online by creating an account.
3. Complete the required coursework – There are 123 credit hours required to earn your Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Aviation/Aerospace.
Those hours are made up of:
- General Education Courses – 30 credit hours
- Interdisciplinary Studies – 21 credit hours
- Lower Division Required Courses – 12 credit hours
- Elective Courses – 18 credit hours, at least 12 of which are upper division courses
- Upper Division Required Courses – 42 credit hours
